Doug Crouse

Doug Crouse is a part-time lecturer at Rutgers University’s Institute for Global Languages and teaches French in Sparta, N.J., which named him Teacher of the Year in 2013. Doug serves on the board of Foreign Language Educators of New Jersey and is the co-organizer of FLENJ’s statewide mentoring program. In 2013, Doug was named a Mead Leadership Fellow by the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages and has given workshops on a variety of topics, including target language use, classroom culture and student feedback. A former full-time journalist, he continues to write feature articles for The Language Educator magazine.
