Claire is a great example of the profound effect that learning a world language can have on a child. Claire has been studying Arabic for three years through GLP. Recently, she and her family visited the White House in Washington D.C. While waiting in line to enter the White House, Claire started singing a song that she learned in Arabic class. One of the White House staffers noticed her singing and commented on how amazing it was that she was learning Arabic.
Not only did Claire share her knowledge on this day but her mother Sabrina says that Claire often teaches the family words and songs that she has learned in class during dinner. Sabrina is excited that Claire has this opportunity, as she believes that knowing Arabic will positively affect Claire’s life and career trajectory.
